Terre des hommes Delegation in Kosovois seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator for the project “Improving reintegration and living conditions of migrant and returned children in Albania and Kosovo” IMIRE KA.

1.General information about Terre des hommes Kosovo and IMIRE KA Project.
Terre des hommes Mission in Kosovo is a non-profit making organization that has been operating for over 15 years in the field of child rights and child protection, leading the establishment and strengthening of a national child protection system in Kosovo.  Terre des hommes’ area of expertise ranges from direct psycho-social interventions with vulnerable children and their family and community members, to empowerment of local, regional and national level governmental institutions and key stakeholders through capacity-building and on-the-job training in order to develop and implement proper child-sensitive structures, policies, standards and procedures. Terre des hommes Kosovo has 2 main programs of interventions: 1) Child Protection 2) Migration and Anti-Trafficking.

IMIREKA project it’s being implemented in Albania and Kosovo, where 3 municipalities covered with this project in Kosovo are (FushëKosovo/Kosovo Polje, Mitrovicë/Mitrovica, and Ferizaj/Uroševac). The overall project objective is to support and empower Kosovar and Albanian families and children in their own country of origin, to prevent unsafe migration and at the same time assist the project beneficiaries in the reintegration process once they return to their country of origin. Whilst the specific objectives are as following:
i. To sustainably improve the living conditions of 120 families and vulnerable children in Albania and Kosovo, in order to prevent their engagement in unsafe migration to cope with poverty and social exclusion.
ii. To facilitate the reintegration of 500 returned families and children from Albania and Kosovo by improving their access to quality social services.
iii. To increase the capacities of 150 professionals in Kosovo and Albania working with children and families, in order to provide qualitative services

2.Essential job functions of the position opened for Kosovo:
•Ensure all project activities are implemented on a timely and quality manner in accordance with Tdhprogramme standards and in full compliance with all donor requirements as specified in projects contracts.
•Develop and maintain plan of activities in collaboration with the project team and reports on regular basis about the performance of the projects.
•Coordinate with the team members, partner organizations and the supervisor for the implementation of activities, tailoring of training planned in the project and all other project-related activities.
•Coordinate, support and ensure smooth implementation of psychosocial activities based on the Movement, Games and Sports (MGS) methodology.  
•Coordinate with team members of the project and ensure the identification of candidates and referral for vocational education for mothers and fathers, as well as for children over 16 years of age, all aiming the decrease the likelihood of them unsafely migrating abroad.
•Coordinate and ensure the smooth implementation of the parenting support program in collaboration with the partner organizations and local social services through peer to peer support.
•Supports as per need on the smooth implementation of after School Learning Centers program and activities through  
•Serve as a contact person for all communications related to project activities with, external experts, partner organizations and other stakeholders and ensures that collaboration with partners is smooth and managed, including the signing of agreements with all designated partners of the project as necessary.
•Regularly monitor the timely implementation of all activities in the project areas based on the Monitoring and Evaluation(M&E) system;  
•Regularly compiles project reports as per agreed reporting schedule and the format of reporting, based on M&E system designed and overseen by Tdh M&E Specialist;  
•Facilitate training events and deliver professional training sessions for relevant partners and professional service providers at the local and national level as part of the project.
•Provide technical expertise in the field of psychosocial services for children and facilitate psychosocial activities for children and young people based on the MGS methodology.
•Carry out regular monitoring visits to ensure quality application of services standards and working principles based on the support provided by Tdh and partners and take action to address issues in collaboration with the Case Manager Specialist

3.Qualifications and experiences:
•Post graduate degree in Social Sciences, Law, International Development, International Relations is required
•Work experience in the given field of migration it would be preferred
•Sound knowledge in the field of migration national and international legal framework, policies and best practices.
•Ability to work independently with little direction from others as necessary
•Good communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, flexible world view and emotional maturity
•Ability to communicate effectively, present the program to donors and partners, write well and express technical issues in a sensitive manner.
•Good language skills in English and Albanian, and Serbian it would be an added value

The titular will conduct his/ her duties in respect of the Child Protection Policy and the Convention of the Rights of the Child subscribed by Terre des hommes.
