Terre des hommes (Tdh) is looking for a ‘Juvenile Justice’ Project Manager to join its team in Romania. The successful candidate speaks English (= working language) and Romanian fluently.

Duty Station: Bucharest

Working time: part time (30 hours a week)

Reporting to: Programme Manager

Start date: January 2017

Tdh offers a one year fixed-term contract, with possibility of extension. 

Main tasks

Manage ‘Juvenile Justice’ projects and responsible for the effective and qualitative implementation of activities, for reaching outputs and outcomes
Project and budget monitoring and reporting
Support the development of Tdh’s Juvenile Justice (JJ) programme
Explore opportunities for funding JJ activities
Advocate to help strengthen the Romanian legal framework, including policies for prevention measures for juveniles at risk or in conflict with the law
Liaise with government counterparts, non-governmental organizations and other partners implementing activities related to Justice for Children.
