UNICEF Romania is looking for a Donor Stewardship Consultant

Key responsibilities:

- implement the donor stewardship plan, in collaboration with relevant staff members (from FR, communications, program sections) and partners (for e.g. online agency, telemarketing agency);

- analyse donor database, propose and implement stewardship activities based on donor behaviour

- provide specific information and requests to Database Management Assistant for database - segmentation according to various criteria: donor fulfilment rate, payment age, payment errors etc.

- assist in creating content for donor stewardship communication tools: welcome packages, reporting packages, e-newsletters, direct mailings, brochures, other printed materials, web page, and all other engagement and stewardship tools, in cooperation with relevant staff members and service providers (for e.g. printing houses, video production companies, online agencies etc.)

- monitor and evaluate the results of the stewardship plan (KPIs: donor attrition, conversion rates), with the aim of adjusting and suggesting improvements


Qualifications and skills:

- University degree in humanities, communications, marketing/business or related field

- minimum three years of work experience, preferably in the field of customer retention /loyalty, marketing or fundraising

- exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

- advanced computer skills

- general understanding and knowledge of database systems

- planning and monitoring skills

- ability to organise work and projects

- fluency in English and Romanian
