Volunteer translators for English to Bulgarian

The Know-How Center for Alternative Care of Children in Bulgaria and Terre des hommes are looking for volunteers who have 2-5 hours per week to translate existing materials on the childhub website into Bulgarian language. This work can be done from home with good internet access - and technical assistance will be provided in order to enable the volunteers to upload translated texts themselves - so physical location is not an issue. The work of volunteer(s) will be supervised by Know-How Centre for the Alternative Care of Children in Sofia, Bulgaria (associate: Elen Ivanova) - while content will be overseen by the Regional office of Terre des hommes in Budapest.

Profile: 

  • interest in child protection issues
  • proficiency in English
  • good Bulgarian writing skills
  • computer literacy (average)

Selected candidates will be requested to provide two references and to sign and adhere to Tdh's child protection policy.
