Childhub continues the Barnahus series in 2019! In cooperation with the PROMISE project, we are organizing a mini webinar series on conducting forensic interviews with children victims and witnesses of violence. Join us for the first session on Thursday, February 14th with a start at 2pm CET, to hear the perspective from the judicial/police sector about the value and results of when child victims and witnesses of violence give evidence via a forensic interview at the Barnahus. As a Judge from Iceland, Mr. Simon Sigvaldason will share his perspective on the forensic interview in Barnahus, why Barnahus is positive for the judicial process and how it protects the child. He will also discuss due process and the rights of the defense in the context of the forensic interview in Barnahus. We hope this webinar will support your efforts to lobby for change and commitment in your own countries.
