Alex Dressler, Head of Capacity Building at Keeping Children Safe will introduce their new child safeguarding guidance. The guidance provides an overview of how to manage child safeguarding incidents and concerns involving a member of staff, consultant, associate, or a volunteer, either from your own organisation or one or more partner organisations.
The guidance and webinar is specifically for senior managers responsible for overseeing investigations of child safeguarding concerns.
Learning points from webinar include:
- Helping a manager create a plan for managing child safeguarding allegations, both current and historical in order to provide a consistent and robust approach
- Providing advice about specific issues that might arise within more complex safeguarding concerns
- Providing managers with key information about how to give oversight, direction and leadership when managing a child safeguarding allegation.
