Start and finish time of webinar
2 - 3 pm CET

About the webinar:

Young people who are vulnerable offline experience the online world as both a refuge and a risk. They turn to it as an escape, for support and connection to others. It opens up new possibilities, and offers a space in which they can be free of labels such as ‘disabled’ or ‘in care’. Yet some young children are significantly more at risk of online harm.  This growing disparity will be explored in the webinar with research messages from young people and practical ideas about intervention, online safety education and professional training. Findings from an annual Cybersurvey conducted in the UK with almost 15,000 young people will be presented.
