The webinar will take place on the 18th November at 11am UK time to mark the first European Day on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse.
During the webinar Claire Cody from the International Centre: Researching Child Sexual Exploitation, Violence and Trafficking at the University of Bedfordshire will share findings from a series of consultations with children and young people affected by sexual violence in Albania, Bulgaria and England. The webinar will share the ways that young people felt they or other young people could get involved in sexual violence prevention efforts. The webinar will also touch on advice that young people shared in relation to what might help or hinder young people from getting involved in sexual violence prevention efforts, considering the perceived risks and dangers as reported by young people.
