Ca să evolueze, copilul are nevoie de un model, de un punct de referinţă, care să-l îndrume pe calea cea bună în viaţă. Persoanele cu nevoi speciale au, in general, mai puţine posibilități de afirmare și o calitate a vieţii mai scăzută. Misiunea noastră, a cadrelor didactice din Școala Primară Călărași, este să oferim tuturor copiilor posibilitatea de a-şi forma competenţe, de a le crea condiţii să şi le exprime, de a simţi bucuria copilăriei si de a descoperi lumea care-i înconjoară. Noi avem şansa să oferim celor din jur şanse egale pentru fiecare, prin educaţie, grijă, dragoste.Pentru a ne realiza aceste obiective apelăm la joc- fiind activitatea ce stă la baza învățării la copiii de vârstă școlară mică. Astfel  în noiembrie 2015, a început activitatea Ludotecii ”Toți pentru Unul” unde copiii se pot simți cu adevărat copii într-o lume a lor, lumea în care toți(chiar și învățătorii) sunt egali, lumea în care nu mai contează culoarea pielii, nu mai contează cum ești îmbrăcat și din ce familie faci parte. Contează că ai alături un partener de joc, iar pentru a te juca vei trece cu ușurință barierele pe care ți le-au creat societatea față de cei diferiți ca tine, sau chiar față de tine însuți.Ne propunem pentru viitor dotarea sălii în care acum se desfășoară activitatea Ludotecii cu: mobilier, calculator, televizor, alte jocuri de socializare.Ignacio Estrada spune: ”Dacă un copil nu poate învăța în modul în care îi predăm, trebuie să îi predăm în modul în care el poate învăța.” Pronind de la această idee, prin joc facem viața copilului mai frumoasă, dar și îl ajutăm să învețe să socializeze cu semenii, să-și dezvolte încrederea în sine, aprecierea și întărirea pozitivă.
