The course will help them to identify anxiety disorders experienced by young people, understand ‘stigma’ related to mental health and develop their ability to help a teenager experiencing debilitating anxiety.

It is taught over 3 hours a week for a length of 3 weeks, each covering a different aspect of addressing anxiety and mental health among young people. It will be lead by an experienced adult and youth mental health nurse clinician and lecturer.
