The third webinar within the Keeping Children Safe in Sports project will be held (in English) on February 12th at 11.00 CET (12.00 Romanian hour) by safeguarding expert Paul Bercea.

The trainer and expert will discuss the following key points:

  • the project`s achievements in 2020
  • the project`s curricula, presentation and reflective discussion
  • Policy and procedures, discussion and implementation

About the trainer

Paul Bercea has over 20 years of experience in child protection and safeguarding vulnerable children and young people, both in Romania and the UK. He has worked for statutory agencies (Lincolnshire Children’s Services) and children’s charities (Nspcc, Barnardo’s). He has also worked as a regional child safeguarding adviser (Europe), and a UK national trainer and consultant. Paul has delivered child safeguarding workshops (UEFA, 2018), safeguarding in football study group schemes (UEFA, 2019) and a Keeping Children Safe in Sport Training of Trainers (Romania and Greece, 2020).

Keeping Children Safe in Sports is The 'Keeping Children Safe in Sports' project  is funded by the 'Rights, Equality and Citizenship' program of the European Commission. The project is coordinated by Terre des hommes Romania and implemented in partnership with Terre des hommes Hellas and Terre des hommes Hungary.
