In 2018, the mission of Terre des hommes in Albania has started implementing the project "Restoration approaches - Alternative for children in conflict with the law", a project which is funded by the European Union and implemented by Terre des hommes Albania, in partnership with the Conflict Resolution Foundation and Dispute Reconciliation (AFCR) and Terre des hommes Hungary.

This initiative aims to contribute to the respect of human rights and especially to children / youth in conflict or in contact with the law, encouraging the implementation of restorative approaches and the prevention of imprisonment based on the Criminal Code for Juveniles in Albania. In addition to increasing the knowledge among actors working in the field of restorative justice, this initiative aims to promote the effectiveness of implementing restorative approaches by developing practices and guidelines for key actors on the use of alternative and reintegration measures.

This webinar is the fourth in a series of webinars that will be organized in the framework of restorative justice and aims to present the importance of implementing the restorative approach, compared to the penal one, focusing especially on the value of this approach with juveniles in the system of execution of penal decisions. The webinar is conceived as a "navigation" in the good practice with juveniles at the Institute of Minors in Kavaja.

For those of you will be accessing zoom for the firs time , please open the link 10 minutes before the webinar starts so that your computer can download the zoom app.
