The Center for Social Work is the basic institution in the social protection system with public authority in resolving citizens' rights in the area of social protection. The place, responsibilities, obligations and roles of the social work center in the social welfare system are the backbone of this webinar which is designed for professionals, who directly or indirectly cooperate with the social protection system.
The Webinar "Obligations and responsibilities of the Center for Social Work" will provide answers to questions such as what the social protection system is and which position in the system belongs to the Center for Social Work, how the work of the center is organized, which is the scope of work and what competencies are entrusted to it by the law, and who is the key person in charge of its users. A special part of the presentation will be dedicated to service users, with a special focus on children and families.
About lecturer:
Slavica Milojevic is a graduated social worker and she is employed at the Republic Institute for Social Protection in Serbia, as Head of Information, Promotion and Support Department. She has a 30-year experience in the social welfare system and, among other things, she worked as an advisor to the Minister for Social Work; an expert associate for the social welfare of refugees at the Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia; an expert associate in the family team at the Center for Social Work and several years she was also the Coordinator of the Department for organizational development and youth development in the Red Cross.
During her previous engagement, Slavica Milojevic participated in the realization of numerous national and international projects; in numerous researches within the field of social protection system; wrote scientific and professional papers and created and realized dozens of trainings and workshops for professionals.
