The ”Esze Tamás Orphanage” teamed up with the film club called ” Önismereti Filmes Műhely” and released a video clip under the title of ”Neszetamás” which portrays the way orphan teenagers think about life.
Thanks to the "Self-Knowledge Film Workshop" professional program of the "Életrevaló Egyesület " (Association for Life) and the "Északi Támpont Egyesület" (Northern Stronghold Association) a video clip was published under the title Neszetamás, which was made with young people living in the Esze Tamás Children's Home.
The plot of the four-minute-long clip takes place in the orphanage neighbourhood in Budapest. In the video, there is a few-second-cut of the Parliament as a reference to the capital city. Girls and boys are both featured in the project. In their common song, they sing about the mental and physical hardships they face as young people without families. To highlight their miserable fate, the video has been published in black and white.
The song covers several topics, such as mental illnesses, teenage pregnancy, differences between male and female social roles, drug use (actors smoke cigarettes in the video clip), previous suicide attempts and identity crisis that is caused by orphanhood.
Despite the lack of home and past grievances, these teenagers are motivated to build a healthy future life.
In addition to filmmaking, the program also includes mental health classes and experience therapy classes.
