In September 2020, UNICEF Albania launched the #TeBesoj campaign. The most prominent feature of the campaign is a series of installations of children’s silhouettes, each representing real children that have experienced sexual abuse in the country. #TeBesoj appeals to the authorities to take concrete and effective action against sexual abuse, stating “It is time to raise our voices and do something to prevent this”.

The installations were first displayed in central spaces in the capital city, accompanied by discussion panels with the key stakeholders responsible for developing polices and enforcing the application of the law. The campaign will continue in the coming weeks in cities across Albania.
