ASTRA is an organization devoted to the eradication of all forms of exploitation and trafficking in human beings, especially women and children, as well as providing support in looking for missing children. ASTRA pays special attention to raising public awareness and prevention as well as educating all actors involved in assisting victims during the process of recovery and reintegration, as well as criminal prosecution of perpetrators.
Workshops will be conducted in primary and secondary schools in Serbia. The main goal of the training is to educate young people on the issue of trafficking in human beings as well as on forms of prevention and protection. After completing the training, pupils aged 18 to 22 will share their knowledge with their peers in elementary and secondary schools throughout Serbia.
The training will last for two days and will be attended by 20 candidates picked from the shortlist. The training is free and the deadline for registration is February 15, 2019.
Young people who want to educate themselves on the topic of trafficking and then share their knowledge with other peers should send their CV and motivation letter at the following address: astra@astra.rs, with the indication "For peer educators".
