Julianna is not just one young girl, who was born to a bad place. Julianna is all the girls, who grew up without parental guidance and does not know anything about her health, her body and her rights. Violent people take advantage of Julianna, they are forcing sexual intercourse with her. Because of that she can catch any sexually transmitted disease, she can get pregnant and she can die.

In this case Julianna is a teenager, who got pregnant at the age of 15, from a violent man who is 4 years older than her. She had plans, she wanted to study and have a better life to provide a better childhood for her children than hers was...

In spite of that 179 government agreed on that the most important thing is to focus on young women and their health and rights - how to meet their health needs, how to educate them about their body and how to protect them from violence and abuse – on the International Conference on Population and Development, 25 years ago, there are still more than ten thousand girls are getting pregnant day by day.

Julianna turned 17 today, she is unemployed and lives with her abusive partner, taking care of his sick father.

To help reduce the number of Juliannas – girls who are vulnerable, neglected, living in poor conditions and not knowing anything from their body and their rights - heads of state, community leaders, decision-makers and activists gather together between 12 and 14 of November 2019 at the Nairobi Assembly and together they are working on a better support system so these girls can get to know their health needs, their body and their rights.
