What happens in the early years of a child's life has a major impact on the health and development of the child. To be healthy, babies should only be fed with breastmilk in the first 6 months, but it is very important to continue breastfeeding after the 6th month too.

This document is intended for mothers. It describes the benefits of breastfeeding, how to breastfeed, and how to tell if the child is getting enough food.
