These infographics have been prepared and published as part of the thematic package by Defence for Children International Belgium (DCI Belgium), within the regional project 'Building Relationships through Innovative Development of Gender-Based Violence Awareness in Europe - BRIDGE'.

The BRIDGE project is implemented under the lead of the Terre des hommes Regional Office for Europe together with partners from Belgium (Defense for Children International DCI-Belgium and FEDASIL), Greece (ARSIS), Malta (Kopin) and Romania (Tdh Romania), and has the general objective to strengthen the statutory response to GBV affecting children and youth on the move in EU countries.

Two of the infographics provide an overview of the data gathered as part of the BRIDGE project in Belgium during 2019 and 2020. The data collection activity involved the completing of questionnaires in a mobile data collection tool by care professionals and children and youth on the move. In addition to a report which has already been published and which highlighted the general tendencies on the level of conceptual knowledge about GBV in both of these groups; the perception and attitudes towards GBV; and the main practices towards GBV, the infographics summarize the results of the questionnaires and the responses received.

The third infographic presents the main points of concern and information regarding the exploitation and trafficking of migrant children, with a focus on the state of affairs in Belgium. It was developed in partnership with ECPAT Belgium, the Belgian branch of the ECPAT international network, fighting against child sexual exploitation.

The BRIDGE project is supported by the European Union’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014–2020)
