To enrol and take courses in the Childhub Academy you need to be logged in to Childhub.

This UNICEF online learning course will revamp your knowledge on children rights and the appropriate approach, while providing individuals with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the objectives of UNICEF, where child rights are at its core. Furthermore, this course enables individuals to employ a perspective that is adherent to children's rights, in their daily lifestyle.

Participants will:

  • Be able to explain and elaborate on the concept of child rights and the variances between this particular approach and others, such as the child-focused/child-centered approaches
  • Outline the principles owing to UNICEF's objectives, which prioritizes the advocacy, security, and assurance of the rights of the child
  • Successfully outline the manner in which UNICEF had assisted in the enactment of the Convention of the Rights of the Child
  • Successfully be able to communicate with colleagues and associates regarding the advancement of children's rights and the relevant approach
