There have been many studies exploring the consequences the pandemic has had on children's mental health and their mothers, yet not so much about fathers, This new publication by the Fatherhood Institute has given light to the way fathers in the United Kingdom have felt during the lockdown.

The main findings of the study  Lockdown Fathers: the untold story were:

  • Fathers grew in confidence regarding their relationship with their children.
  • They built stronger relationships with their children.
  • They want to stay more involved in future – and their contribution to their children’s learning and development could be massive.

These are very important findings regarding the father's role in the life of children.

To read the full study please visit this link, where you can find an Executive Summary, a Condensed Report and the Main Report as well.
