The manual is a response to the need of the professional public in BiH for a better understanding of the nature and content of supervisory support in psychosocial work, especially in the social protection system.
This manual is intended for all professional assistants and directors of institutions and organizations who want to get acquainted with the concept of supervision, its development, as well as concrete application in professional work. Students of social work in psychology, pedagogy and all those professions that are based on working with people can also get an insight from this text into what supervision is and how it can help them in their future professional practice.

At this promotion, Prof. Dr Andrea Puhalić, supervisor and associate professor at FPN in Banja Luka and president of the Association of Supervisors in BiH, and as the author of the first two parts of this Handbook, spoke about the importance of all aspects of supervision, as well as the definitions and characteristics of different models of supervision and professional literature.
