Terre des hommes (Tdh) mission in Albania will organize the national training webinar within the framework of the project “Improving provision of services and awareness to combat Trafficking in Persons in the Balkans, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo" funded by the U.S. Department of State through the J/TiP program.
The webinar training topic is “Advanced counseling techniques with target groups: victims of trafficking, sexual abuse, domestic violence.” and will cover the following topics:
- Psychological consequences of trafficking, sexual abuse, and domestic violence.
- Trauma and post-trauma,
- Advanced Psychological Counseling and Therapeutic Approaches,
- The counselor skills,
- Stages and techniques of Advanced Counseling
The targeted audience of this webinar are psychologist and social workers who deal with victims of trafficking in shelters and NGO.
The speaker of this webinar is Irena Kraja
Irena Kraja, is a Psychologist and Program Leader for Anti-trafficking working at Mary Ward Loreto Foundation. During her experience she has developed psychological Counseling and therapy sessions as part of holistic model of care for women and young adults who suffered domestic violence, and victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Her practice includes face to face as well as online sessions with my clients, including teenagers and adults. She assists clients who struggle with trauma and post-trauma, depression, anxiety, as well as life stressful events, to heal and to cope with life challenges while rebuilding self-image, self-confidence and motivation for the future.
