Violence among children can take various forms, from physical and verbal violence to violence on social media networks, from intimidation to psychological abuse and discrimination.

REVIS project (“Responding to peer violence among children in schools and adjacent settings") is aimed at preventing, combating and responding to violence among children through transforming social and gender norms and behaviours, and encouraging children to challenge negative social norms, become social influencers and develop solutions to conflicts by themselves.

Another goal of this project is to develop a program of engagement in four countries with the help of 80 trained facilitators and 8 trainers, based on the findings of a qualitative research conducted into the social and gender norms contributing to violence against children.

REVIS project is developed in the period 2021 – 2023 and coordinated by Terre des hommes Hungary (general coordinator). In Romania, the project is implemented by Terre des hommes Foundation and is co-funded by “Rights, Equality and Citizenship” Programme of the European Union (2014-2020).

Further details about project beneficiaries, goals, participants, calendar of activities are presented in the flyer below, in Romanian language.
