The family in Korca Municipality is composed by 7 Children of 6 months - 17 years old and the parents who are not legally celebrated. They live in poverty since the parents union, starting from Tirana and afterwards in Korca. The father is mainly involved with the collection of the recycling materials while the mother with some of the children is begging in the centre of the city. Two of the children have a disability status and are being part of the social aid scheme; they benefit 9000 l/month. Also the family is part of the scheme benefiting 4000 lek/month. The rest of the income is composed by the father's activity and the children's beginning.

There are issues of school abandoning of 3 of the children. Also, those who attend school are involved in begging activity in the afternoon. One of the children is also subject to gambling.

Since their transfer to Korca the family has always been supported with food and clothing from charity in the city until 2016 when Dorcas, the last supporting organisation, phased out.

Strong points of the family: Parents are interested to collaborate for the benefit of the children. They are able to provide basic needs and shelter to them. Three of the children are part of the public education system.

Weak points: Three of the children have abandoned the school. They are exploited to ensure income for the family. Their begging activity puts them in high risk of protection.

Social worker needs assistance and guidance to develop a sustainable plan for the family to first get children out of the risk zone and second the improvement of the economic situation of the family.

The following steps were suggested by the facilitator on the case:

Family re-evaluation taking into account parenting / development needs, children's needs (of each of them, environmental factors, formal and informal sources in the territory where the family lives GDD collection from NJMF Korce based on Full Case Review including family members, parents, children who may be included in the meeting at the PMF's trial (I recall that the last meeting was made 2 years ago which contradicts the situation of the family)

Drafting of PIM for each child and family based on Full and Detailed Re-evaluation for each family member, clear definition of responsibilities received from the stakeholders at the meeting and family members ... signing this action plan by the attendees.

Monitoring the implementation of the action plan ... starting from the fact that this monitoring has passed, at the GMD meeting to determine the monitoring team which includes the PMF. Monitoring is frequent and for each monitoring to report the information to the PMF.

Documentation of information. It was decided that the documentation should be kept regularly including: Completion of family visit forms (in case these visits are to be carried out by the designated actor of the monitoring group and not the PMF information is referred to the PMF) Keep track of the assistance provided to the PIM that can be completed by completing the Journal diaries or the Verbal Process signed by the contributor and the family member, copies of which are passed by the PMF Rewriting the situation by the PMF every month during the first quarter and reviewing the case at the end of the first quarter, if everything goes as planned in the IMP, otherwise the case review will be earlier.
