This is the 3rd webinar of the series on the effects of COVID 19 in the Child Protection Field in Albania. As the new situation required that the vast majority of protection work had to be completed online, this also increased the likelihood of protection workers’ exposure to certain online risks and to certain ethical aspects of this work. The webinar will target child protection workers; social workers / psychologists of civil society organizations as well as other professionals working in the field of protection of children's rights. They will be guided through these issues by two professionals; Mirgit Vataj and Sabina Carcani.
This webinar aims to raise awareness among professionals to safely use technology to conduct meetings, discussions, information exchange, management and referral of cases. This webinar also aims to increase the capacity of professionals working in the field of child protection to maintain and care for ethical issues during online and in-distance work such as: confidentiality, management and recording of information, exposure of beneficiaries, giving consent from beneficiaries etc.
