[Bulgaria] A Team from the Olga Stoyanova Orphanage in Dupnitsa, Bulgaria, Shared their Experience via Webinar (in Bulgarian)

The Know-How Centre for the Alternative Care for Children, New Bulgarian University, shared a webinar organized under the 'Fulfilling (Im)Possible Dreams' project and the Child Protection Network, which was held in November, 2019.

The webinar presented the experience of a team from the Olga Stoyanova orphanage in Dupnitsa, Bulgaria, working with young people who are about to leave the service. Lecturers shared their experience in implementing the project's (Fulfilling (Im)Possible Dreams project, funded by the European Commission Justice Program, implemented by the Know-How Centre for the Alternative Care for Children, NBU) methodology of working with young people, and their experience in extending the services for young people who are about to leave and those children and young people without parental care who have already left the services. These topics are addressed through the presentation of the case of a young man who wants to live independently, as a hairdresser, and is actively involved in the fulfillment of his own dreams.
