The Terre des hommes Foundation in Romania published for the first time in Romania a series of resources regarding the safety of children in the sports environment. These materials are addressed to employees of sports clubs and camps and aim to explain and promote safeguarding procedures (related to the safety and protection of children) in sports and recreational environments. (They can be read and downloaded for free at these links: click on titles).

They were published in 2021 as part of the European project "Keeping Children Safe in Sport", co-financed by the European Union's Rights, Equality and Citizenship Program (REC 2014-2020) and coordinated by the Terre des hommes Romania Foundation, in partnership with Terre des hommes Greece and Terre des hommes Hungary. Their content is the sole responsibility of the authors and does not reflect the views of the European Commission. The European Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.

Within this project, the official partners in Romania of Terre des hommes are the National Authority for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Children and Adoptions and the Romanian Football and Gymnastics Federations.
