Report of the Secretary-General

The Assembly requested the Secretary-General to report at its fifty-eighth session on the implementation of the present resolution and to give special attention in his report to the girl-child refugee. The present report provides information on action taken in respect of those concerns by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees; by other members of the United Nations system, notably the United Nations ChildrenÂ?s Fund, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict; and by other organizations.
