In order to support the development of inclusion and the application of a modern bio-psycho-social approach to children with disabilities, Save the Children organizes a series of specialized trainings / webinars for media workers, one of which is intended for journalism students.

The participants will get a more complete insight into the concept of inclusion of children with disabilities and good practices in BiH and other countries, will discuss models and challenges of media presentation of this topic, and will get acquainted with terminology, journalistic techniques and tools for adequate reporting on children with disabilities, in order to create more inclusive media. The handbook "Towards Inclusive Media: Responsible and Competent Reporting on Children with Disabilities and Inclusion in Education" will also be distributed to participants.

The online training will take place on Wednesday, 28.10.2020 from 13.00 to 14.30, via the Child Hub platform, lasting 90 minutes.

The training will be led by Vesna Andree Zaimović, a media expert with thirty years of experience, a long-term external associate of Save the Children and the author of numerous contents on the topic of inclusion.”
