Today we know that children experience loss  differently from adults. Children are dependent on their immediate environment, especially the adults who care for them, so their loss is very often associated with intense feelings of insecurity and helplessness.
All people experience loss in their lifetime  Some experience more, some less, some experience them earlier in their lives, and some later, some experience more losses at once. Regardless of when and how much and what kind of losses we have experienced it is important to know that they are always difficult and that each person needs time to get over the loss.
When we talk about loss and grieving process usually we focus on the loss caused by death, as the only completely irreplaceable loss. In this article the most attention will be given to this.
