The number of divorces is growing in Kosovo, children the main victims [Video]

The Kosovo Agency of Statistics has published divorce rates during 2016. According to these statistics, within 2016, 1110 divorces occurred. Kosovo divorces are happening mostly during the first year of marriage.

Tahire Haxholli, liutenant of Kosovo Police, said that the main factors which are considered for divorce are economic situation and violence.

Sociologist Leutrim Sahiti thinks that recently such a phenomenon is seen as common. While, psychologists think that the phenomenon of divorces mostly affects children.
