Eurochild has co-funded its member Plataforma de Infancia's guide for Spanish agents involved in the area of childhood to learn about the investment needs in childhood identified within the EU, and how they will be reflected in the different EU funds.

For this purpose, Plataforma de Organizaciones de la Infancia proposes the development of a Guide (in the format of document and online toolkit) for public administrations and civil society organizations. The guide provides concrete information on how to integrate the priorities of children in vulnerable situations in the programming and administration of European funds in Spain (mainly, ESF+, FEAD and ERDF) during the period 2021-27.

The document provides information on the complete cycle of the funds, detailing the different phases of it: from the programming to the preparation of the calls; the evaluation of proposals and award; the monitoring process and the evaluation of results. Additionally, the guide provides useful information about the involvement of the different agents and their role, including the administrative units of the different funds in the different territories, local entities, third sector entities and other possible beneficiaries.

The development of the guide has been carried out in collaboration with Save the Children Spain and EAPN Spain.
