About the webinar:

The guideline "Empowering the family in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic" is an effort of the organization Terre des Hommes in Albania in the framework of the project "Development of source documents for social welfare professionals ”, funded by UNICEF.

Its purpose is to serve as a working protocol for the family empowerment approach in the context of COVID - 19 for professionals in the field of social services. Together with the model of multifunctional community centers (MWCs) the document will support front line employees and MRC administrators in achieving the standards and more specifically of the standards 2, 3, 5 and 6.

The manual comes in assistance mainly to professionals of MRCs, NGOs working in this field as well as any other public or non-public professional / institution that have roles related to family empowerment.

After its drafting, the manual went through a process of review, testing and validation by the Directorate of Social Services in the Municipality of Tirana and Shkodra and in three MRCs, whose suggestions are integrated in the document.
