June 1st marks Global Day of Parents, a day proclaimed by the United Nations as a day to appreciate parents all across the world for their selfless sacrifice and care towards their children.
All of us who work with children and families know how important, wonderful and difficult this role is. As if being a parent isn’t challenging enough, you’ve faced so many extra challenges in the last period. Like caring for the youngest and most vulnerable members of our society, surviving online school and staying home to fears, you have been there for your children.
