Council of Europe has produced a handbook that contains comprehensive guidance for frontline professionals working with migrant minors on how to communicate information about children`s rights in a child-friendly and age-appropriate manner. The handbook is very practical and contains useful advice for professionals, as well as a summary of good practices that can be adapted to different contexts.

The Council of Europe statement says that "children in migration have the right to be informed about their rights and the procedures affecting them. Such information is crucial uphold the child's right to be heard and to participate in procedures affecting them. Children in migration face additional barriers in access to information that is child-friendly despite being identified as one of the most vulnerable groups of children in Europe today."
