With the passing of the Global Development Goals, the global community renewed its commitment to ending child labour, effectively seeking to end it in all its forms by 2025. This fifth report by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) investigates the current scale and characteristics of child labour in the world today. Furthermore, it provides an overview of the changes in child labour over time. Lastly, it considers the most important political priorities to facilitate the end of child labour as outlined by the Sustainable Development Goals.

This resource contains an executive summary, the main report, as well as regional briefs for Africa, the Americas, Arab States, Asia and the Pacific, and Europe and Central Asia.
