The Office of the National Coordinator for the Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings is the focal point of the coordination of anti-trafficking activities in Albania. This is the third report prepared by the Office. This report is an official document which is used by all domestic and foreign actors to see the results and identify any problems related to the fight against THB in Albania; thus, the report is a useful instrument for improving activities performed by state and independent institutions and for increasing awareness among domestic and foreign actors about the reality of THB. The report focuses on 3 main areas defined by the National Strategy for the Fight against THB 2005 Â 2007: prevention of trafficking, criminal investigation and prosecution, and protection and assistance to victims.
