The Erasmus+ project: Improving the Protection and Wellbeing of Children in Europe: Enhancing the Curriculum; brings together 8 European universities along with Terre des Hommes, to develop a suite of core child protection training modules, including e-learning, to increase capacity and professionalism in addressing the challenges of child protection and welfare in an increasingly globalised world.

The project focussed on the opportunities for improved and consistent training of child protection staff across the sector to ensure the development of an integrated child protection system and response in partner jurisdictions. The involvement of Terre des Hommes is welcome as they have a wide role and remit towards the training of professionals involved in child protection, especially with regards to children on the move, and have a wide range of working relationships with many universities and organisations in eastern Europe”.
