The Know-How Center for the Alternative Care for Children, NBU, is implementing the EU funded project "Let's Fulfill (Im)Possible Dreams". In the framework of this project, in conjunction with Resident Services (CNST), they assist young people who are about to leave social services in order to build and start fulfilling their life plans.
The topic of the meeting will be "The Impact of Loss and Death of Loved Ones on the Ability to Plan the Future for Young People Ages 14-18 Years Old". For young people who have experienced loss and death, this task is difficult. The project will look at how loss and death affect the mental health and identity-building of young people living in public care and will offer approaches that overcome the impact of trauma and support thinking about the future, and, thus, help integrate them more successfully into the community.
