The conference will discuss safeguarding policies in schools, let them be run by the church, the state or non-governmental entitites. Children, a former victim and schools will speak at the conference. The conference is part of the "Safe Schools" program.

In the afternoon of the conference a roundtable discussion will include Astrid Winkler, director of ECPAT Austria, as well as a representative of the Hungarian Ombudsman's office and members of the clergy.
