UNICEF reports on how the Syrian crisis has resulted in millions of children being unable to continue their education, but a small and cheap piece of technology might be able to change that.

UNICEF innovation specialist, James Cranwell-Ward, has been able to develop a cheap small computer using a credit-card sized hard-drive called 'Rasberry Pi', and a tablet screen, all tied together with a platform developed by an e-learning start-up.

Zeinab, a Syrian refugee in Lebanon, who has attended the Rasberry Pi classes is already learning to code, basic numeracy, science and has also developed her own game using the patforms coding language.
