Report of an Independent Review of the Commercialisation and Sexualisation of Childhood

The study aimed to examine how the increased levels of wealth have created strong commercial pressures on all consumers, whether they have participated in that affluence or not. Society also seems to have become more openly sexualised; the rapidly changing technological environment has its benefits in so many ways but has also made the seamier side of humanity inescapable. The study’s main target was to understand the pressures of the commercial and sexualised world on children and young people. In order to achieve that more than thousand children and parents participated in the survey throughout the United Kingdom.
