Often, when we talk about gender, we talk about adults. Even at the state level, statistics are often collected according to the principle - men, women, children, while it should be - men, women, boys, girls.

National children's Hotline reports that children face a variety of gender-related issues - family and friends relationships, ill-treatment, psychological problems, bullying and cyberbullying, sexual life.

Changes in statistics are required at the national level.
