The standard, "Children's Participation is Supported by Training" was discussed at the 28 September 2021 training of the ongoing workshop, "Child Participation in Decision-making."
Participants reflected on the skills professionals need to effectively facilitate the participation of children in decision-making, like the ability to listen to children.
The training took place within the Adult Capacity Development Program, organized by the People's Advocate for Children's Rights, jointly with The Alliance of Active NGOs in the field of Child and Family Social Protection (APSCF) and The Child Rights Information Center (CRIC). The training was attended by 30 pedagogues, social workers, other professionals working with children.
