Nowadays, it is unfortunately common among young people that they are forced to do something they don't want to do. The exploiter gets control over them. Important things to know are the stages of grooming because we can keep young people safe from exploitation, which can happen also without them noticing.

The stages are the following:

  • First: Target - an exploiter usually chooses a vulnerable person, who seems not strong enough
  • Second: Test - when the exploiter makes the 'victim' adapt to their lifestyle
  • Third: Hooked - when the exploited feels like part of the gang already
  • Fourth: Trapped - the relationship starts to become uncomfortable, the true intents are revealed

Here is a quick quiz in connection with the signs of grooming, worth to learn more!
