A companion guide for children and adolescents willing to tell the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child about how children’s rights are respected in their country

This is a companion guide that has been developed for children and adolescents willing to tell the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child about how children’s rights are respected in their country. It should be used in conjuntion with Together with children – for children, a guide for Non-Governmental Organizations to facilitate children’s engagement in all aspects of the CRC reporting process. This publication includes an introduction for children and young people on the basics of children’s rights, instructions on how children and young people can report to the Committee and a step by step guide on how to research. A glossary of relevant terms containing basic definitions is also included
