We invite you to apply and participate in one of the two trainings, which aim to address the topic of affirmative work with LGBT high school students, in order to achieve fuller social inclusion and a safer environment for all high school students.

Trainings for professional development of employees in secondary schools are accredited by the Institute for the Advancement of Education in the form of a professional meeting with a duration of one working day. They are conducted by professionals with extensive experience in working with LGBTI * people and their families.

The first training will be held on June 29, 2020. yr. entitled Improving the knowledge and skills needed to work with young LGBT people in high schools and is intended for all employees in high schools in Serbia.

The second training will be held on June 30, 2020. yr. entitled Improving inclusive practices, preventive and interventional activities with the aim of reducing discrimination and peer violence / abuse of LGBT students. The training is intended for professional associates in secondary schools who, within their work tasks, are directly involved in activities to protect students from discrimination, abuse and violence.

Participation in the trainings is free of charge, and all participants receive a certificate in accordance with the Rulebook on continuous professional development and promotion to the titles of teachers, educators and professional associates.

The training is organized by the citizens' association IZAĐI Group and is conducted with the support of the British Council and the Trag Foundation, in cooperation with the Fund for Good Governance of the Government of the United Kingdom.

Applications are open until June 26. Travel expenses, lunch and refreshments during the break are covered by the organizers.
