Education protects children from poverty, violence, and abuse, and helps them laugh, learn, eat, play and grow.

But right now, parents and children worldwide are scared that Covid-19 is stealing this golden opportunity away. One year on, hundreds of millions of children are still shut out of learning. This year, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to lift up the Class of 2021 and lend all those who have sacrificed so much for our common benefit a helping hand.

With political will and imagination, our elected leaders can offer every child a chance to experience the magic of learning, grow up safe and protected, and play their part in building a better post-pandemic world.

We can’t afford to lose learning to Covid-19. Together, we can pressure our leaders to save education and protect a generation.
