The Center for Youth Integration, as a local partner organization in Serbia, within the framework of the regional project Child Protection Hub for South Eastern Euprope, organizes local training for experts who are working with pre-school children.
The main focus of the training is to contribute to the improvement of the practice of professionals who are working in preschool institutions by giving them an insight into the mandate of the Center for Social Work, a legal framework that determines its functioning, in particular its functioning in intersectoral cooperation, the functioning and mandate of the Center for Social Work in the social protection sector, education and protection against violence. Also, a part of the training will be used to present to the attendees a draft of the Strategy for the Prevention and Protection of Children against Violence, as well as research on the determinant of violence against children.
The training will be held by regional trainers Slavica Milojevic (from the Republic Institute for Social Protection) and Sasa Stefanovic (from the The Network of Organizations for Children of Serbia) in the premises of the Cafe bar "16" in Belgrade, 15a Cetinjska street.
